In Japan, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi added that "violence cannot be tolerated anywhere in the world," echoing sentiments of relief regarding President Trump's safety after the alarming shooting.
The European Union expressed its concerns as well, with Kaja Kallas, the EU's head of diplomacy, stating, "I am glad to know that all attendees, including President Trump, are safe after the shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner."
As the tension unfolded, President Trump was promptly evacuated from the event, ensuring his safety and that of others present.
