Civil Guard Entrance Exam Canceled Due to Labeling Error
The Civil Guard entrance examinations scheduled for this Sunday have been suspended due to a labeling error identified in one of the exam boxes, as confirmed in a statement issued by the armed institute on Saturday. The exam held on Saturday remains valid; however, the cancellation only pertains to candidates set to take their exams tomorrow. The Civil Guard has committed to informing affected candidates about the rescheduled examination date as soon as possible.
This weekend, a total of 26,332 candidates, including 316 women, were slated to compete for 2,721 available positions within the ranks of corporals and guards. Notably, half of the candidates fall within the age bracket of 20 to 30 years, with the average age being 28.
The 2,721 positions available this year are divided as follows: 1,432 are open access, 1,089 are reserved for military personnel, and 200 are designated for Young Guards.
The opposition phase comprises four tests, including knowledge, physical fitness, a personal interview, and a medical examination. For the knowledge portion of the examination, there are 19 designated venues spread across twelve autonomous communities.
Candidates are now left in a state of uncertainty as they await further information regarding the new examination date, amidst the disappointment caused by this unforeseen cancellation.
