Daily Rosary Prayers in St. Peter's Square for Pope Francis' Recovery
The Vatican announced on Monday that Rosary prayers will be held every evening in St. Peter's Square, dedicated to the health of Pope Francis. Starting tonight, cardinals residing in Rome, along with their fellow collaborators from the Roman Curia and the Diocese of Rome, will gather at 9 PM for this special prayer service. The prayer session will be led by Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
According to sources from the Vatican, Pope Francis was reported to have woken up after a restful night and is continuing his treatment at Rome's Agostino Gemelli Hospital. The mood within the hospital is said to be positive, with reports indicating that the pontiff is eating normally and is not experiencing any pain.
The Vatican further clarified that the suffering mentioned in a medical bulletin released on Saturday evening stemmed from a prolonged respiratory crisis that Pope Francis experienced that day. The pope was admitted to the hospital on February 14 after facing breathing difficulties. Initially treated for bronchitis, he was later diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs.
In light of his health challenges, the nightly Rosary prayers aim to bring comfort and support to the Holy Father during this difficult time. The Vatican encourages the faithful around the world to join in spirit, praying for the pope's swift recovery and continued strength.
