Driver Released After Causing Multiple Injuries Outside RCE Espanyol Stadium

The driver involved in a serious traffic incident outside the RCE Espanyol stadium in Cornellà de Llobregat, Barcelona, has been released after her arrest, though she is now required to report periodically to the court. The woman’s driver's license has been revoked, and her vehicle has been confiscated. This incident occurred prior to a Liga football match between RCE Espanyol and FC Barcelona, leading to a total of 17 injuries reported. According to the TSJCat, the judge at the Cornellà court is handling the case, which is currently open for alleged crimes against road safety, disobedience to authority, and negligence leading to injuries. However, the classification may change once final reports on the injured parties are available. Among those injured in the incident, two individuals remain hospitalized, with one in serious condition and receiving treatment in intensive care.
