Recent airstrikes in Lebanon, attributed to Israeli forces, have resulted in the deaths of at least 21 individuals across various regions, including southern and eastern Lebanon, as well as the capital city, Beirut. The Israeli military has confirmed the loss of one of its soldiers amid the escalating conflict.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that six people, including three children aged three years old, lost their lives in a bombing in Jraibe, situated in eastern Baalbek. The attacks have also left 11 others injured, with five of those injuries being minors, and two children reported to be in critical condition.
In the Nabatiye region, five more individuals died in Al Yazaer, while another casualty occurred in Tyre from an assault targeting a motorcycle. Additionally, further bombings in Kfar Tebnit led to the deaths of five more people, according to the latest updates from Lebanese officials.
Reports indicate that an Israeli drone launched a projectile at a rescue team affiliated with the Rissala Scouts, linked to the political party Amal, on a road in the area, as detailed by the Lebanese newspaper L'Orient-Le Jour.
Tragically, four more individuals, consisting of two Lebanese and two Syrians, died in an attack on a van transporting potatoes near Nabi Chit in Baalbek. The continuous bombardment has particularly focused on Dahiya, a neighborhood in Beirut known as a Hezbollah stronghold, where the Israeli Army has confirmed around fifty bombings.
In conjunction with these military actions, Israeli authorities have ordered further evacuations of 15 southern Lebanese towns, including locales such as Kfar Hamam, Kfarchuba, and many others. The violence extended into areas like Mansuri, Al Hoch, and Al Athar in Tyre, following a night of air assaults in surrounding regions, including Bint Jbeil.
The conflict's toll underscores the deepening humanitarian crisis affecting civilians in these areas, inciting urgent calls for peace and stability amidst rising tensions.
