Experience the Future of Driving: The All-New Cupra Tavascan Now Available for Test Drive

Take the chance and be among the first to test drive the new Cupra Tavascan – a thrilling addition to the growing lineup of electric vehicles. As the global automotive industry shifts towards sustainability, more manufacturers than ever are embracing electric cars. Cupra, the newest brand within the Volkswagen Group, stands out with its dedicated approach to performance and stunning design. The Tavascan marks the brand's entry into the electric SUV market and follows their first electric vehicle, the Cupra Born.

Helena Sjöberg Tufvesson, the marketing manager at Cupra Sweden, emphasizes that the Tavascan encompasses all the qualities Swedish car enthusiasts desire: a fully electric drivetrain, all-wheel drive, and ample space for both passengers and cargo. "The Tavascan is designed to impress,” she states. “This vehicle is the perfect fit for the new generation of car lovers. The car is now available in Sweden, ready for anyone eager to experience its capabilities."

The Tavascan is constructed on Volkswagen's MEB platform, shared with popular electric models like the Volkswagen ID.4 and Audi Q4 e-tron. “We position ourselves between volume brands and premium offerings, providing an exciting alternative for customers who might typically lean towards traditional luxury cars,” says Helena. This distinctive positioning within the Volkswagen Group highlights their unique brand identity and solid product offerings.

Combining a sporty design with robust performance and enhanced safety features, the Tavascan presents a compelling option for electric vehicle fans. Buyers can choose between two versions: a rear-wheel drive variant boasting 286 horsepower and a more powerful all-wheel drive VZ version that delivers 340 horsepower. Nonetheless, both versions provide exhilarating driving experiences, complete with selectable adaptive chassis control Sport DCC and progressive steering. When it comes to range, the rear-wheel drive version achieves an impressive 565 kilometers, while the all-wheel drive variant offers 518 kilometers, as per WLTP evaluations.

Charging is efficient and user-friendly, with a 77 kilowatt-hour battery capacity. The Tavascan supports 11 kilowatt AC charging, and rapid charging capabilities allow drivers to recharge from 0 to 100 kilometers in just seven minutes. Helena further explains, “This fast charging feature makes it incredibly convenient for drivers to top up their charge while on the road.”

Ready for any adventure, the Tavascan's comprehensive configuration options provide the capability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 5.5 seconds. The vehicle supports various attachments, such as a tow hook and roof rack. Additionally, it offers a spacious trunk with 540 liters of storage, while the rear seats can be folded and split to ensure maximum versatility.

Inside, the Tavascan harmonizes luxury with sustainability, featuring an interior crafted from partly recycled materials. Safety remains paramount, as the vehicle is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, including the latest Connected Travel Assist and a head-up display enhanced with augmented reality for an immersive driving experience. Drivers will also appreciate standard features like the 15-inch infotainment display, a new Human-Machine Interface (HMI), wireless FullLink connectivity, and a premium Sennheiser sound system with twelve speakers.

With its blend of cutting-edge technology and stylish aesthetics, the Cupra Tavascan promises to deliver not just a means of transportation but a complete driving experience. Curious car enthusiasts are encouraged to book a test drive and witness firsthand the future of electric driving.
