Extremadura Students Anticipate PAU Exam Results: High Pass Rates and Admission Cutoffs Revealed
Students in Extremadura are on the brink of receiving their grades from the ordinary session of the PAU, an essential milestone that will dictate their potential enrollment in university programs. The awaited results, set to be published on June 13, will be available on the University of Extremadura's website, along with provisions for centers to access and download provisional grade cards for students.
For aspiring medical students, the pressure is particularly intense, as the admission score for Medicine skyrocketed to 129.45 last year, marking it as the most competitive program. Close behind, the double degree in Mathematics and Statistics demanded an admission score of 122.61.
However, the overall outlook is positive, with 95.8% of students who sat for the PAU in Extremadura in 2024 having successfully passed. This high pass rate offers reassurance for those whose desired degree programs require a minimum score of just 5.
In the event of discrepancies in their grades, students will have the opportunity to call for a review of one or several exam exercises. Those wishing to proceed with this request must do so within the stipulated timeframe from June 16 to 2:00 PM on June 18. This review process allows students a chance to challenge their results and potentially improve their outcomes.
As the release date approaches, both excitement and anxiety fill the air amongst students, each one hoping to secure a spot in their chosen university programs.
