Facua Consumers in Action Calls for Damages from Concert Cancellations at Santiago Bernabéu
Facua Consumers in Action has urged individuals affected by the cancellation of concerts scheduled at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid to claim damages for unrecoverable expenses. These cancellations affect fans who had already invested in transportation and accommodation, which they will not be able to recover fully. In a statement released to the media on Monday, Facua emphasized that attendees are entitled to a full refund of their tickets, including management fees, and they do not need to wait for new concert dates to initiate their claims.
Additionally, Facua has reached out to Madrid's mayor, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, seeking clarification on whether a sanctioning file has been opened against Real Madrid, the stadium's owner, for potential violations of noise regulations. The sports club announced on Friday that it would temporarily suspend concerts at the iconic venue located on Paseo de la Castellana until it is confirmed that all municipal regulations are strictly adhered to, particularly concerning noise complaints from local residents.
Upcoming events, including those featuring popular artists like Aitana, Dellafuente, and Lola Índigo, have already seen a significant impact, with cancelations affecting approximately 250,000 people, according to Facua's estimates. Notably, Aitana has already responded to the situation by rescheduling her shows from December 28 and 29 to June 27 and 28, 2025. As the situation unfolds, affected concert-goers are encouraged to act swiftly in reclaiming their financial losses and maintaining awareness of their rights regarding ticket refunds.
