Fines Proposed for 17 Individuals Linked to La Vuelta Incidents
The State Anti-Violence Commission has announced its intention to propose fines for 17 individuals who were involved in various incidents that occurred throughout the stages of La Vuelta. According to a report by Cadena SER, the proposed fines range from €3,000 to €4,000, in addition to a six-month ban on attending any sporting events. This information was released in a statement from the Commission on Wednesday, which detailed that the cases under review stem from the actions of the National Police and the Civil Guard during several significant stages of the cycling event. Specifically, the incidents relate to the twelfth stage from Laredo to Los Corrales de Buelna, the fourteenth stage from Avilés to La Farrapona, and the fifteenth stage from Aveiga to Monforte de Lemos. This decision highlights the ongoing efforts to maintain safety and order during major sporting events in Spain.
