Fire Breaks Out at COP30 Headquarters in Belém, Brazil
On Thursday, a fire broke out at the headquarters of COP30, the United Nations Climate Conference currently taking place in Belém, Brazil. The cause of the fire remains unclear, but the pavilion where the incident occurred has been temporarily evacuated. Celso Sabino, the Brazilian Minister of Tourism, who was present at the pavilion at the time, reported that the fire is now under control and has thankfully not resulted in any injuries.
