Hezbollah Chief Warns of War with Israel Amid Escalating Tensions
Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah has issued a stern warning to Israel, threatening a war with no restraint, no rules, and no ceilings in case of a major Israeli offensive against Lebanon. Nasrallah's remarks come amid soaring tensions at the Lebanon-Israel border after Israeli officials reiterated that the country is ready for an all-out war against Hezbollah.
Nasrallah emphasized Hezbollah's military capabilities, stating that the group has acquired new weapons and has an abundance of drones that it manufactures locally. He highlighted that Hezbollah is prepared for the most difficult days and has deterred the enemy so far.
In response to Israeli threats, Nasrallah suggested that Hezbollah may send ground forces into Israeli territory, causing fear among the Israeli military. He also warned Cyprus against cooperating with Israel, stating that using Cypriot airports and bases for military purposes would implicate Cyprus in the war.
Moreover, Nasrallah vowed to open a naval front against Israel in the Mediterranean and reiterated Hezbollah's commitment to continue attacks on Israeli targets until the Israeli war on Gaza ends.
The situation in the region remains tense, with both sides making bold statements and preparations for potential conflict. As international mediators work to avert a greater war between Israel and Hezbollah, the stakes continue to rise. The ongoing confrontation underscores the complex dynamics and deep-rooted animosities that shape the Middle East geopolitics.
