Italian Embassy in Belarus Concludes Competition to Celebrate Italian Design Day 2025

Today marks the conclusion of the second competition organized by the Italian Embassy in Belarus, an initiative aimed at celebrating Italian Design Day 2025. Following the success of its first edition, this competition seeks to support local designers while stimulating the study of Italian design and highlighting the prestigious Salone del Mobile.

A statement from the diplomatic office revealed that 18 designers participated in this year's competition, presenting a variety of innovative projects focused on furniture and interior accessories. Each submission showcases elements that are either characteristic of modern Italian design or inspired by its prestigious legacy.

The embassy emphasized the importance of this competition not only for fostering artistic expression but also for encouraging cultural dialogue between Italy and Belarus. It acts as a platform for emerging talents to connect with the principles of Italian craftsmanship and aesthetics, which are recognized worldwide for their elegance and quality.

In addition to the embassy, the competition is supported by both technical and financial sponsors, ensuring resources for the participating designers and the overall success of the event. A judging commission, composed of experts in design and architecture, is set to convene shortly. Their task will be to evaluate the submitted projects and select the top entries that stand out in creativity and originality.

As excitement builds for the upcoming Salone del Mobile, this initiative by the Italian Embassy not only highlights emerging talents but also serves to reinforce the enduring influence of Italian design across the globe.
