Kamala Harris Discusses Ukraine Peace Talks and Personal Gun Ownership in Candid Interview
Democratic White House hopeful Kamala Harris made headlines during a recent interview aired on October 7, where she emphasized her stance on the Ukraine conflict and her personal firearm ownership. In the interview on CBS's 60 Minutes program, Harris asserted that if elected president, she would not engage in peace talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin without the involvement of Ukraine. This revelation followed her recent comments to television personality Oprah Winfrey about being a gun owner and her willingness to defend herself if her home were threatened. Addressing the subject directly, Harris confirmed her experience with firearms, stating, "I have a Glock and I've had it for quite some time." When asked if she had fired the weapon, she responded with humor, saying, "Of course I have. At a shooting range, yes of course I have."
