Karol G Announces Historic World Tour Following Coachella Performance
Last Sunday, Colombian superstar Karol G made history as the first Latina artist to headline the Coachella festival. Following her groundbreaking performance, she announced an exciting world tour to promote her latest album, Tropicoqueta, which was released in June 2025. The album pays homage to a rich array of Latin music genres, including merengue, bachata, cumbia, vallenato, and reggaeton.
The highly anticipated tour will kick off on July 24 in Chicago, making its way through numerous American cities before reaching Mexico in November. After completing the Latin American phase in early 2027, Karol G will take her talents to Europe, starting with a concert in Spain on June 3, 2027. She is set to perform at the Estadi OlĂmpic in Barcelona, followed by shows at the Estadio La Cartuja in Seville on June 11, and wrapping up in Madrid at the Riyadh Air Metropolitan on June 24.
Karol G's impact on the music scene has been monumental, especially after making headlines in July 2024 when she became the first artist to sell out four consecutive concerts at Madrid's Bernabeu Stadium. Her rise has brought Latin music to international audiences, and her upcoming tour is expected to continue that trend.
In preparation for the high demand, the Spain branch of the concert promoter Live Nation has announced that tickets will go on sale on April 30 at 10 AM. For those eager to secure their seats, a presale for registered fans will begin on April 29, available from 4 PM on April 21 until 4 PM on April 24. Marquee dates, special guest announcements, and further details about the tour are anticipated to follow, but one thing is certain: Karol G's tour is one not to be missed.
