Minor Injuries Reported After Car Crashes into Crowd at Turin Motor Show
During the annual Turin Motor Show, a car accident occurred on Sunday that left 12 individuals with minor injuries. A Lancia Delta rally car reportedly lost control and collided with a crowd behind the safety barriers in Piazza San Carlo, located in the heart of Turin.
Local officials confirmed that while most injuries were minor, one woman suffered more serious results, including cuts, bruises, and a suspected broken leg. She was promptly taken to the hospital under code yellow, which indicates a level of urgency in care, but not life-threatening.
In addition, five other individuals were transported to nearby medical facilities for further evaluation, while the remainder of the affected crowd received immediate attention from on-site medical staff. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported in this incident.
