Mysterious Drones Over New Jersey Spark Investigation and Controversy
Since mid-November, residents in New Jersey have reported seeing mysterious drones flying in the evening and night sky. The unusual sightings have sparked intrigue and concern, leading to speculation and claims regarding their origins. Recently, Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh addressed the issue, responding to rumors that have been circulating for weeks. Most notably, New Jersey Congressman Jeff Van Drew appeared on Fox News, suggesting that the drones may be launched from an Iranian mothership stationed off the U.S. East Coast. He asserted that this information came from high-level sources.
Singh firmly refuted this claim during a press briefing, stating that there is no Iranian ship off the U.S. East Coast and that the drones are not being launched from any so-called motherships. The Department of Defense, commonly referred to as the Pentagon, has assessed that the drones are neither foreign nor hostile, leaving many to wonder about their actual origins.
Despite this clarification, the identity of those responsible for the drone flights remains elusive. Reports indicate that such drone activity has occurred over sensitive locations, including a military research unit and near Donald Trump’s golf course, raising further questions about their purpose.
During a recent Congressional hearing, an FBI representative acknowledged that they are investigating the matter. Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden remarked that while the drones do not appear to pose a public threat, there is a pressing need for transparency from federal authorities. "The safety and security of our residents is our top priority," Golden stated. "We urge state and federal agencies to work together to locate the origins of these drones and clarify their intent. It is crucial that we address these incidents promptly to avoid concerns or disturbances."
Adding an international dimension to the mystery, unidentified drones were spotted over U.S. military bases in the United Kingdom in late November, further complicating the investigation into the origins of these aerial vehicles. As of now, it remains unclear where they came from, a question that continues to perplex officials and citizens alike.
