Newly Uncovered FBI Documents Revive Sexual Assault Allegations Against Trump
On Thursday, March 5, the US Department of Justice released previously withheld FBI documents related to the Epstein case, featuring serious allegations against former President Donald Trump. A woman has accused Trump of raping her in the 1980s when she was between 13 and 15 years old. These documents had not been included in the three million pages released on January 31, a situation the Trump administration attributed to a classification error, claiming they were merely duplicates.
The revelation comes after US Attorney General Pam Bondi stated, in mid-February, that the Trump administration had released the Epstein files in their entirety. The identity of the woman at the center of these new documents remains confidential, and her allegations have yet to be verified.
As of now, there is no information regarding any investigations linked to her claims or how the FBI has regarded her testimony. Furthermore, there seems to be no indication that any inquiries have been initiated against Trump.
The recent documents contain summaries of four interviews with the woman conducted by the FBI in 2019. She alleges that she was raped by both Jeffrey Epstein and Trump; these statements emerged shortly after Epstein was arrested. The individual has detailed a harrowing experience, claiming she was assaulted, raped, and beaten by Epstein and some of his associates on his private island in the Caribbean.
Regarding the allegations against Trump, the woman alleges an incident of sexual violence, claiming she defended herself by biting him. During her depositions, she became evasive when faced with further inquiries, stating that she had two other interactions with Trump.
These disclosures are part of a broader collection of documents linked to the trial of Jeffrey Epstein, a wealthy financier in New York, who was convicted of sexually exploiting underage girls before his death by suicide in jail. Epstein's relationships with various high-profile individuals, including Donald Trump, have spurred numerous conspiracy theories over the years. This situation is made even more complicated by new legislation passed by Congress in November, mandating the government to publish all documents related to the Epstein case. As more information emerges, the implications of these allegations against Trump are likely to be fervently examined in both the public and legal arenas.
