Police Arrest 60-Year-Old Man in Madrid's Latest Case of Gender-Based Violence
National Police agents have detained a 60-year-old man of Spanish nationality, identified as the alleged perpetrator in the homicide of a 29-year-old Paraguayan woman. The tragic incident occurred in the Usera district of Madrid late last night, according to a statement from the Madrid Superior Police Headquarters.
Emergency responders found the victim at approximately 2:00 AM in a residence on Travesía de Santoña. Upon arrival, they discovered the woman had suffered multiple stab wounds and showed no signs of life. Medical personnel confirmed her death at the scene, revealing fatal wounds to her neck and right armpit.
Following the gruesome discovery, citizen attention units managed to locate the suspect in the vicinity, leading to his immediate arrest.
