Tragic Fire Claims Four Lives in Guillena, Sevilla: An Investigation into the Cause
A devastating tragedy unfolded in Guillena, Sevilla last Sunday when a fire ignited, claiming the lives of four family members. The Civil Guard has confirmed that the fire was caused by the explosion of a mobile phone battery that was charging at the time. Investigations conducted by the Fire Team of the Area unveiled that the charging phone was precariously placed on top of a sofa at the bottom of the house. Initial rumors had suggested that the source of the explosion might have been a battery from an electric scooter, but further inquiry has clarified the situation.
In a show of solidarity and mourning, the Christian Hernández municipal pavilion became the focal point for the community as it hosted both the wake and funeral mass for the victims on Monday.
