Tragic Plane Crash in San Diego: Multiple Fatalities and Evacuations

A devastating air accident occurred in San Diego, California, this Thursday, resulting in several fatalities and extensive damage to residential areas. The incident forced the evacuation of numerous homes due to a significant fuel spill and caused multiple vehicles to catch fire as a result of the crash.

Authorities are still determining the total number of people on board the Cessna 550 aircraft, which had taken off from Teterboro Airport near the U.S. capital the previous night. The plane made a stop in Wichita before heading to San Diego. Reports indicate the aircraft, manufactured in 1985 and owned by an Alaskan company, crashed into approximately 15 houses.

The police have urged the public to steer clear of the area around Sculpin Street and Santo Street, where the crash took place. Preliminary reports indicate that no distress calls were made from the aircraft before it went down.
