Train Delays Expected in Madrid Due to Signaling System Issues
Adif, the Spanish rail infrastructure manager, has announced that high-speed trains traveling to and from Madrid may experience delays this Wednesday due to an incident affecting the signaling systems. The announcement was made via the social media platform X.
In a follow-up notice, Adif reassured the public that the traffic control and management systems are gradually recovering. They reported that rail traffic to and from Atocha Station is in the process of being restored. However, the manager emphasized that travelers should still expect delays as the situation is being addressed.
Commuters are advised to plan their journeys to anticipate potential disruptions, and updates will be provided as the recovery progresses.
