The collaboration with Riksbyggen proved essential as their Renovation Department evaluated the existing conditions and crafted a comprehensive plan. Additionally, the project included eco-friendly waste sorting houses designed with green roofs, preparing the cooperative for future sustainability requirements.
Recognizing the need for guest accommodations within their community, project manager Fredrik Hansson noted plans to refurbish an old area into a guest apartment, enhancing the living experience for residents with visitors.
As groundwork began, essential infrastructure updates surfaced, revealing that buildings required drainage, and the external water, sewage systems, and electrical services were outdated. The decision was made to integrate these challenges into the renovation scope, a move that Fredrik assured would save costs on future repairs.

New walkways, lighting, and planted greenery created an ambiance for outdoor gatherings, play, and relaxation.
