UK Prime Minister Calls for Prince Andrew to Testify Amid Epstein Revelations
This Saturday, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a public statement calling for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has recently lost his Prince title, to testify before the United States Congress about his alleged connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Starmer emphasized that those with information must come forward, stating, "You cannot play the victim if you are not willing to do so. The victims of Epstein must be the first priority."
Starmer's comments come following new revelations from the Trump administration, which released a trove of documents implicating Prince Andrew further in Epstein's alleged criminal activities. With over 2000 videos and 180,000 images recently uncovered relating to Epstein's prostitution and trafficking network, the pressure is mounting on members of the British royal family to clarify their involvement.
The Prime Minister noted that the U.S. Democrats in Congress had requested Andrew personally consider their invitation to testify about his relationship with Epstein. This request has been met with Andrew's continued refusal to cooperate, further intensifying scrutiny over his actions.
Amidst the swirling controversies, the U.S. Department of Justice employed the Transparency Act, passed in November 2025, to release documents revealing new evidence. Among the disturbing material are photographs showing the former prince alongside an unidentified woman in what appears to be Jeffrey Epstein's New York mansion, a location notorious for his illicit activities.
Starmer reiterated his previous stance, stating, "Anyone with relevant information regarding these types of cases should provide that evidence to those who need it," particularly in the context of Epstein's numerous victims.
In the wake of these revelations, King Charles III officially stripped Andrew of his princely title earlier this month, following a series of allegations and public pressure relating to his connection with Epstein. Royal family sources defended the decision, describing it as a necessary step though they continue to deny the accusations against him.
The silence from Prince Andrew is striking, particularly after the release of incriminating emails that have surfaced. In one correspondence from August 2010, Epstein refers to a '26-year-old Russian' woman as 'intelligent and beautiful,' inviting Andrew to London. Another email exchange between Epstein and Andrew hints at their relationship, with Andrew inviting Epstein to Buckingham Palace shortly after Epstein had been released from house arrest—highlighting an alarming timeline of events considering Epstein’s public status at that time.
Andrew’s continued reluctance to address these allegations and publicly respond to the new evidence has dominated headlines across major newspapers such as The Times, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, and The Sun. The mounting evidence poses significant questions regarding the former prince's past interactions, particularly in light of Epstein's known associations and criminal activities.
As the investigation unfolds, the call for accountability echoing from across the Atlantic grows increasingly loud. Victims of Epstein's crimes continue to seek justice, while a notable figure in the British royal family remains ensnared in a troubling legacy. How this situation resolves remains to be seen, but the implications for both Prince Andrew and the monarchy are profound.
