Ukraine's Air Defenses Intercept 25 Russian Drones, Romania Issues Alert for Falling Debris

Ukraine's air defenses successfully intercepted 25 out of the 38 drones launched by Russia at its territory early on July 25, as confirmed by the country's air force. The drones were targeted and destroyed over various regions including Odesa, Kherson, Mykolayiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr, and Cherkasy. It was reported that three drones managed to cross the Romanian border before being lost on location. In response to the incident, NATO member Romania issued mobile phone alerts for Tulcea County, which shares a border with southern Ukraine, warning the public of the potential risk of falling drone debris. This marked the second consecutive day Romania had to issue such warnings, signaling the ongoing tensions in the region.
