United States Announces $275 Million in Military Aid for Ukraine Amid Russian Assault
On May 24, the United States revealed an additional $275 million in military assistance for Ukraine in response to Russia's attack near Kharkiv. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that this aid is part of the U.S.'s commitment to assisting Ukraine in defending its territory and safeguarding its citizens. The aid package comprises various military equipment, including High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), artillery rounds, antitank systems, antitank mines, tactical vehicles, small arms, and ammunition.
